Where it started
Wooden Canvas opened at Cubao Expo, Quezon City in 2009 with a simple idea: that a photo you love deserves somewhere better than a phone screen.
Something warmer. Something that feels like the memory it holds.
That idea is still the whole point.
What we do
We print personal photos onto wood. Family portraits, couple photos, pet pictures, milestones.
We take the time to get it right — whether that’s helping you choose the right size for your space, suggesting a finish or display option, or making sure the photo you’re sending will look the way you’re imagining it. Once your memory is committed to wood, we finish it by hand: the wood-burned stamp on the back, the hook, the wrapping.
It takes a few days. We think that’s fine.
Who we are
Wooden Canvas has been in the same spot at Cubao Expo since the beginning in 2009. We weathered storms in 2020. In 2022, the business passed to us from one of the original founders — a close friend moving to the next chapter of their life, and wanted to make sure the shop went to the right hands.
We try to be worthy of that.
Why people come back
About half of our customers order again within a year. The same people, every Christmas. Every anniversary. Every time a new baby arrives or a graduation needs marking. Every milestone.
We don’t take that lightly. When someone sends us a photo they love, we treat it that way.
