By placing an order with Wooden Canvas, you confirm that you have read and understood the following terms. These apply to all orders regardless of how they were placed.
Your Print
File approval. Your final print will be based on the cropped and edited photo or artwork file that you have reviewed and approved. We will always share a file preview with you before sending anything to print. Once you confirm the file, the order proceeds and changes cannot be made.
Wood grain. Our prints are made on natural wood. Wood grain, knots, and other natural variations in the surface are part of what makes each piece unique. These features may be visible through your photo or artwork, particularly in lighter or more transparent areas. This is expected and is not a defect.
Colour. Colours on your final print may differ slightly from what you see on your computer or phone screen. Screens display colour using light; wood absorbs ink differently from paper or canvas. We take care to produce consistent, high-quality results, but exact colour matching to a screen is not possible.
Print bleed. There is an allowance of up to 3mm along the edges of the image for standard print bleed. A small portion of the image within this zone may be trimmed during printing or cutting. This is a normal part of the printing process.
Your Photos and Artwork
Rights and ownership. By submitting a photo or artwork file for printing, you confirm that you have the right to reproduce that image and to authorise us to print it on your behalf. This includes photos you have taken yourself, images you have purchased a licence for, or artwork you have created or commissioned.
Our liability. We do not independently verify the ownership or licensing status of files submitted to us. Wooden Canvas will not be held liable for any intellectual property infringement arising from customer-supplied files. Responsibility for ensuring you have the right to print an image rests entirely with you.
If you are unsure. If you are not certain whether an image is cleared for reproduction, we recommend confirming with the image owner or a legal advisor before placing your order.
Shipping
Delays outside our control. If you choose courier delivery, please be aware that delays may occur due to events outside our control, including weather events, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, and holiday rush periods. Wooden Canvas is responsible for your print up to the point of handover to the courier. We are not liable for delays or damage that occur in transit.
Damaged parcels. If your parcel arrives visibly damaged or tampered with, please photograph the packaging before opening it and contact us at hello@mywoodencanvas.com within 7 days of receipt. We will assess the situation and do our best to help.
What This Agreement Covers
These terms apply to all products made on order, including standard wood prints, collages, shaped prints, coasters, and any custom artwork or personalised products.
Because every order is made specifically for you, we are not able to accept returns or offer refunds once production has begun. Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for full details on what we can and cannot offer if something goes wrong.
