Product Care & Information
What is special about your wood printing?
We print digital photos and artwork directly onto locally-sourced wood and cork using UV printing technology, a solvent-free process that produces vibrant, long-lasting colors without any harmful emissions.
The result is something that feels different from a framed photo or a canvas. The warmth of the wood, the texture of the grain, the weight of it in your hands. It is the kind of thing people display for years and hold onto long after they have forgotten where they put their phone from that same era.
Our prints are UV- and water-resistant, so they can be displayed outdoors or in direct sunlight without fearing the color fading. We have been making them since 2009.
Why print on wood? Aren’t there cheaper alternatives?
There are. Sintra board and canvas are both common options, and they cost less. If the goal is simply getting a photo onto a surface, they will do the job.
Wood is different in a way that is hard to explain until you hold one. It has weight. It has warmth. The grain of the material is already there before your photo arrives on it, and that natural texture gives the image a depth that a flat, manufactured surface cannot replicate.
A wood print also ages well. It does not yellow, warp, or feel disposable. It is the kind of thing people keep on a shelf for years and do not think to throw away. For a gift that is meant to mean something, that difference matters.
What sizes do you offer?
Our standard sizes range from 5×7 inches up to 20×30 inches. We also carry collection sets for those who want to build a photo wall.
For truly large pieces (up to 48×96 inches, or 4×8 feet, a full sheet of plywood), we can do that too. Contact us for a custom quote.
Will the wood grain show through my photo?
Yes, and that is part of what makes each print unique. How visible the grain is depends on which finish you choose.
Standard: A primer layer is applied before printing, which subdues the grain significantly. Colors are bright and consistent. Best for photos where you want the image to take center stage.
Classic: A thinner primer allows more of the grain to come through, giving the print an extra warmth. Great for portraits, family photos, and anything where that handcrafted feel matters.
Raw: No primer at all. The photo is printed directly onto bare wood, and the grain shows through the image the way texture shows through a translucent wash of color. The result is more muted and organic than the other two finishes. Best suited to monochrome photos, artwork, and minimalist compositions where the wood itself is part of the image.
Not sure which to choose? Just let us know what photo you have in mind and we can suggest the best fit.

How do I take care of my print?
Your Wooden Canvas print is built to last. The colors are UV- and water-resistant, so it can sit on an outdoor ledge or in a sun-facing room without worry.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Hanging: If your print came with a hook, it is attached and ready. If it came with a stand, the stand is packed separately.
- Moisture: Avoid leaving it in places with standing water or prolonged dampness. Regular humidity is fine; waterlogging is what to watch for.
- Cleaning: A clean cloth with a little water is all you need. No special materials required.
Can I bring your prints abroad as gifts?
Many of our customers do. Our wood is treated and does not contain flora or fauna that would raise concerns for most customs authorities. Border control varies by country, so we cannot guarantee clearance, but in our experience, this has not been an issue for the people who have carried our prints abroad.
Order Processing & Shipping
How do I place an order?
Orders are placed through our website, here at mywoodencanvas.com. You can also reach us via Facebook, Instagram, Viber via our number +639273667190, or email at hello@mywoodencanvas.com, and we will take it from there.
Here is what to expect:
- You tell us what you want — size, finish, display option (hook or stand), and the occasion if there is one.
- You send us your photo file and proof of payment.
- Once payment is confirmed, we prepare the print file, cropping, resizing, and any adjustments needed, and share a preview for your approval before anything goes to print.
- Once you confirm the file, we send it to print.
- We let you know when it is ready for pickup or on its way to you.
We always confirm the final file with you before we print. You will never receive something you did not approve.
What image formats and resolutions do you accept?
We work with JPG, PNG, and TIFF files. (We can print GIFs too, though they won’t move once on wood.)
For the best results, a photo at 300dpi is ideal. The table below gives minimum and recommended dimensions for our most popular sizes.
| Print size (inches) | Minimum dimensions (pixels) | Recommended dimensions (pixels) |
|---|---|---|
| 5×7 | 1024×768 | 1500×2100 |
| 6×6 | 1024×768 | 1800×1800 |
| 7×10 | 1280×960 | 2100×3000 |
| 8×8 | 1280×960 | 2400×2400 |
| 9×12 | 2048×1536 | 2700×3600 |
| 10×10 | 1280×960 | 3000×3000 |
If you are not sure whether your photo will work, send it to us. We will check it and let you know before we do anything with it.
Can I use photos from Facebook or Instagram?
You can, with some caveats. Social media photos are compressed for fast loading, which means they have lower resolution than photos taken directly from your camera or phone gallery. For smaller prints (5×7 or 6×6), they often work fine. For larger sizes, the results may not be as sharp.
Our honest recommendation: wherever possible, use the original file from your camera roll or cloud backup. But if all you have is the social media version, send it to us and we will tell you what we can do with it.
How long does it take?
Processing takes 7 days from order confirmation and payment. For busy periods, particularly October through December, we may need a few extra days, and we will always let you know.
For occasion-specific orders, we recommend placing your order at least 7 days before the occasion date to account for processing and delivery; and at least 10 to 14 days if you need it shipped.
Rush orders are sometimes possible. Message us and we will see what we can do.
How do I get my prints?
Two options:
Pickup at Cubao Expo. Come by our showroom at Shop 41, Gen. Romulo Ave., Quezon City. We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 6pm. We will let you know when your order is ready. If you cannot make it to the shop yourself, you are welcome to send a same-day delivery rider to collect it on your behalf.
Local courier. We ship nationwide. Metro Manila delivery typically takes 1 to 3 days from ship-out; provincial locations take 3 to 8 days. Delays during typhoons, holidays, and the Christmas rush are outside our control.
What are my payment options?
- Bank transfer: via our BDO bank account or GCash e-wallet. Send us proof of payment once done.
- PayPal: we accept PayPal balance and credit card payments through PayPal.
- Cash: accepted at our Cubao Expo showroom.
All orders are paid in full before printing begins. For bulk orders, a downpayment arrangement can be discussed.
Can I have my order gift-wrapped?
Yes, and it is free for all prints. When you place your order, just let us know it is a gift and we will take care of the presentation.
Gift-wrapped orders include wrapping paper, an orange ribbon belly band, a gift tag, and a care card tucked inside.
If you would like us to write on the gift tag, let us know what to put.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Wooden Canvas Gift Cards are available in denominations of ₱500, ₱1,000, ₱1,500, ₱2,000, and ₱5,000.
A gift card is a good option when you want to give someone the chance to choose their own print, or when you need something for a birthday, Christmas, or a milestone that is coming up faster than the 7-day turnaround allows.
Gift cards can be ordered through our website or by messaging us directly.
